Who Me? Care About Tax Cuts?
Bank of America just released results of what it calls "...the most comprehensive survey to-date of wealthy American donors." Findings from the survey, conducted by The Center for Philanthropy at Indiana University, include:
- Gving would stay the same even if the estate tax were repealed
- "Giving back" is more important than leaving a legacy
- Entreprenuers give way more
According to B of A's Alan Rappaport, "We see our wealthy clients thinking more strategically about their charitable giving..." You wouldn't be here at Philanthromedia if you weren't psyched to hear it.
